Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Katra

Arrive at Katra railway station.
Transfer to Katra.
Check-in at the hotel for 02 nights stay.
Overnight stay at Katra.

Day 2 : Vaishno Devi Darshan

After breakfast, leave for Mata Vaishno Devi darshan by trek. evening return back to Hotel. Night stay at hotel.
The shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is situated at a height of 5,300 ft., the site is located inside a cave on a hill. amidst the folds of the Trikuta Bhagwati hill at a height of 5,300 ft.
The last 13 km of the way have to be negotiated on foot by the yatris.
Once at the entrance to the cave, the path turns into a narrow tunnel with a cold stream named the Charan Ganga running through it.
The pilgrim has to wade through the narrow tunnel to reach the sanctum sanctorum.
The holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi is nestled in a beautiful recess of the Trikuta Mountains forming a part of the lower Himalayas.
In the cave, there are images of three deities viz. the Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, and Mahasaraswati.
In the evening, after darshan return to the hotel in Katra.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 : Departure

After breakfast depart for Jammu.
